"Waving" across the country...

Dear Friends,

So tickled here to have another opportunity to e-meet with you. I'm always honored when you tune in over the e-waves. Thank you! Just in case you might prefer air-waves over e-waves, this week I've "waved" in Iowa, Chicago, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Maryland and North Carolina with more radio interviews in the coming weeks.

Chocolate Treasure

We were searching for the TV remote again this week. We looked in the sofa, under the chair, behind the end table...inside the DVD player. We looked everywhere but hadn't even a remote idea where it was ("remote" idea—sorry, but you knew I'd have to put it in here somewhere).

Every time we plan to watch something on TV at my house, we have to build in an extra half hour for the remote search. Show starts at 8:00 Central? If we don't want to miss the first... [read more]

Slipping Into High Gear:

Want to start the morning events of your women’s retreat with a chuckle? How about a “Slipping into High Gear” fashion show? House shoes only on the runway! Big fuzzy bunny slippers, polka-dotted terry slip-ons, wooly monster socks—it’s all fun! Enlist several women beforehand to model their most outrageous slipper-wear and be ready, too, to add any last-minute entries.

We’re loving all the women’s events are using the theme “High Heels in High Places:  Walking Worthy in Way Cute Shoes.” This is a hoot of a “kick-off” for a shoe-themed event.
